Our high-achieving Science students have officially begun their preparations for the 2026 STEM WA Oceania Championships, and the excitement is building!
Working in teams, our Year 5 students have partnered with Year 6 leaders to begin constructing their Mini ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles). This hands-on experience has already seen students developing valuable skills such as soldering and designing electrical circuits – bringing science, technology, engineering, and teamwork together in a truly authentic way.
With SCBC teams achieving an outstanding 1st and 3rd place at last year’s competition on Garden Island, this year’s group has a proud legacy to continue. The standard has been set high, and our students are rising to the challenge with enthusiasm and determination!
