Faith in Action: Serving Our Community
Last week, our Cert II Hospitality students put their culinary skills and their hearts, to work for an amazing cause!
The day started in our kitchens at South Coast Baptist College, where students prepped food before heading down to the The Salvation Army Australia Centre in Cooloongup. Once there, they fired up the ‘Mannafest Trailer’ to cook and serve fresh, hot meals for local patrons.
The Mannafest program is such a vital part of our Hospitality course. It’s about so much more than learning how to cook, it’s about demonstrating God’s love in action and bringing comfort, warmth, and connection to members of our Rockingham community who need it most.
A huge thank you to Mr. Hywood for guiding and supporting our students through this experience! We are so proud of the care, respect, and hard work everyone brought to the day.
