State Finalists: Celebrating Our Primary Girls Football Academy

There is something truly inspiring about watching a team come together, not just to play a game, but to play for each other. At the recent School Sport WA Regional Championships, our Primary Schools Girls Football Academy did exactly that, delivering a performance defined by outstanding teamwork, unwavering sportsmanship, and remarkable skill.

From the first whistle to the final match, the girls demonstrated incredible growth and resilience. Every challenge on the pitch was met with determination, and their commitment to the sport – and to one another – was evident to everyone watching. Their exceptional efforts earned them a well-deserved progression to the State Finals, where they stood tall and competed fiercely against some of Western Australia’s most formidable school teams.

Amidst a roster of shining stars, a special congratulations must go to Mia. Her extraordinary performances throughout the regional competition did not go unnoticed, as she was rightfully named the Most Valuable Player. Mia’s award is a testament not only to her talent on the ball but also to her outstanding leadership and dedication to her teammates.

We are incredibly proud of all the girls for the way they represented the academy. Whether on the pitch or on the sidelines, they embodied the values of our college community. The future is undeniably bright for this talented group of young athletes, and we cannot wait to see where their hard work takes them next!
