Character competencies for our students and graduates must be built on a solid foundation of values. We want our students to be thinkers, scholars, leaders, team-players, skilled young people of passion who are equipped to reach for their purpose.
Our History
The initial concept for a school was conceived during a conversation around a dinner table in 1983. The idea was then taken to the Board of Rockingham Baptist Church. Subsequent planning led to the College opening its doors for the first time within two years of the initial discussion. It was one of Western Australia’s first Baptist community Christian schools.
Our Ethos
The Bible is the College’s guiding authority regarding character and conduct within the College. At the heart of the Bible is the good news of the coming of Jesus Christ, Son of God, who humbled Himself by dying on the cross that we might receive the gift of salvation. Those who put their hope in Jesus Christ enjoy a restored relationship with God the Father, who is our loving Creator.
Our Mission
South Coast Baptist College is an Independent co-educational school that serves families in the southern metropolitan regions of Perth and beyond by providing inspired, innovative and exemplary Christian education that is committed to empowering our students to reach for their purpose.
