I would like to extend a warm welcome to South Coast Baptist College and take a few moments to share my vision with you. We are a healthy, thriving co-educational Christian community within a College, catering to students in Childcare through to Year 12.
My call to the work of SCBC began in 2010, when I had the privilege of starting as Principal. Since then, the College has enjoyed a strong academic achievement record, and an engaging, varied curriculum. The College’s co-curricular activities and unique programs all reinforce our desire to develop the whole child. The College’s current 5 stage, $45 million redevelopment means our facilities are equipped to offer the newest education methods as we continually invest in the future.
SCBC’s most noticeable strength is its community, where each student is connected and valued. SCBC is a special place and there is a thriving sense of energy that people notice when they step on to the College grounds. Staff members make a conscious effort to model healthy, authentic, Christ-centred relationships with each other, with students, and their families.
Our teachers are selected from a solid academic base and are 100% committed to delivering quality education in a dynamic, engaging learning environment. They all have a genuine, active Christian faith and embody compassion and service in the school and wider community.
Our mission statement - Rigorous Minds - Compassionate Hearts - means we are very much about shaping content and character as we normalise striving for excellence in life at school and beyond. We want to assist students to reach their first-choice University, TAFE or apprenticeship aspirations when they graduate. The earlier that process starts, the better.
So, if you are you wanting to have every opportunity a private education offers, to explore and hone your child’s unique gifts, chances are, SCBC is a good fit for you. We invite you to visit us on campus. Please call the office on 9540 4400 or email email@example.com and we would be delighted to arrange a time for you.
