Scholarships
At South Coast Baptist College we offer four scholarship pathways. Each scholarship requires the applicant to demonstrate specialised achievement, along with academic and behaviour expectations. Students who receive a scholarship will be supported in developing their passion through extension & enrichment.

Secondary Leadership & Community Scholarships
Applications for commencement in 2024 are now open.
Secondary Leadership & Community Scholarships are open to Secondary students who demonstrate exceptional leadership or community service in their school or community. South Coast Baptist College expects applicants to demonstrate outstanding behaviour and a positive contribution to their current school culture. Applicants must demonstrate a C grade (minimum) across all other subjects.

Secondary Academic Scholarships
Applications are now open for Year 7, 2024.
For all other Secondary Year groups please email enquiries@scbc.wa.edu.au or call us on 9540 4400 for more detail.
Secondary Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic capabilities through the Higher Abilities Selective Test (HAST) and school MESH achievements. Students who receive an Academic Scholarship will automatically be granted entrance into the Gifted and Talented Programme. Students selected into the Programme will be placed alongside their peers who share similar abilities and capabilities for learning.

Secondary Art & Cultural Scholarships
Applications for commencement in 2024 are now open.
Secondary Art & Cultural Scholarships are open to Secondary students who demonstrate exceptional talent in one or more of the following areas:
• Musical Instrument
• Vocal Ability
• Performing Arts
• Visual Arts
• Media Arts
Along with their notable achievements, applicants must demonstrate an A grade for their application subject and a C grade (minimum) across all other subjects. South Coast Baptist College expects applicants to demonstrate outstanding behaviour and a positive contribution to their current school culture.

Secondary Sporting Scholarships
Applications for commencement in 2024 are now open.
Secondary Sporting Scholarships are open to Secondary students who demonstrate outstanding ability within one or more sports. Applicants will be required to demonstrate achievement from within their sport/s of focus, for example:
- State/National level of achievement
- Highest level achievement within a club for two consecutive years
- Interschool representative for at min three Interschool Sporting events
- Interschool Champion Student
Along with their notable sporting achievements, applicants must demonstrate an A grade for their nominated subject and a C grade (minimum) across all other subjects. South Coast Baptist College expects applicants to demonstrate outstanding behaviour and a positive contribution to their current school culture.
