Child Care Cook

South Coast Baptist College School of Early Learning Childcare is seeking someone pastionate about nutrition and creating healthy and delicious meals for children.   Are you focused on being sustainable and using seasonal produce?  Do you have knowledge of the Food Standards Code, Childcare Standards and Government dietary guidelines? If so please send us your application.

The position is 5 days per week, 6.30am - 1.30pm and involves:

  • Purchasing/managing produce/stock within budget
  • Menu planning, utilising our garden produce
  • Cooking for 182 children
  • Implementing Food Safe Procedures, complying with all relevant legislation and maintaining safety and cleanliness
  • Training staff and maintaining records and required documentation

Qualifications required are:

  • a suitably recognised qualification in Early childhood and Nutrition/Food Safety
  • a Food Safety Certificate
  • a First Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis)
  • a Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Knowledge of special dietry requirements (cultural/religious, food allergy and food intolerances)

Cert. 3 Educators

is seeking mature Christian experienced staff.


The ideal candidate for this position will have a Certificate 3 in Children's Services, experience and knowledge of Reggio Emilia philosophy/Practices, knowledge of EYLF, ACECQA and NQF.

Proven ability to work as part of a team is essential.
